1. Expanded Program on Immunization. Our project involves adopting a "Barrio” to support the Fully Immunized Child (FIC) Campaign. Our first community will be in Alupaye, Quezon in collaboration with 100children.org, a privately funded non-profit organization with a weekly feeding program providing warm lunch to school-aged children since 2005.
2. Gawad Kalinga-Boston Chapter (GK-Boston). PMANE is partnering with GK-Boston, a globally recognized anti-poverty and nation-building movement whose goal is to end poverty for 5 million families in the Philippines by 2024.
3. Mentorship. PMANE officers and members have the opportunity to assist in the International Medical Graduate Assistance Program.
4. Internship Program. This is a popular and exciting opportunity that promotes the spirit of volunteerism among the youth, exposing them to the workings of a 501(c)3 organization and public service. To check out our internship program please click here.
5. Health Education Program. This is a community outreach promoting awareness on relevant health topics and issues.
6. Research. PMANE is working with the Philippine Nurses Association of New England (PNANE) by assisting in its cancer initiative research and awareness program.
7. Fil-Am Doc “Sabado” Mixer & Networking “Merienda". These are ongoing events that promote fellowship and forges new relationships among members. Our revival year will include a series of potluck “meriendas” to bring in new and once inactive members and to establish their Fil-Am connection.
